Within the first few minutes of Mervin’s thuggery in Rupavahini corporation it became the hot topic in media. Anyway for two days they reported the news only in one point of view. Same story over and over again. But after Mervin’s some statements this has gained a new direction now.
In a statement to Divaina Sunday newspaper he says that he didn’t go to meet TMG. When he was discussing the matter with Rupavahini chairman, TMG came there and said “we only report what we need”. Then after once again Mervin urges to show his speech, some people with the news editor started the violence. He further says “this is a conspiracy against the government”.
Swarnavahini also today reported one of his statement which says “I only went there to discuss the matter peacefully”. He says that he accompanied only one person when he went there. “Attacking to one person with hundreds of others is not heroic” he says.
Anyway for sure this time Mervin is going to have a very difficult time since all the forces are against him.
True, he did go there with just one person, but the person is a known drug dealer who is on trial for a double murder! I wonder what his intentions were in taking that particular person.
